There are many reasons why anybody would like to have a small wedding. Having a wedding is a huge stress for any bride and groom small or big but a smaller wedding is less of a stress. Another reason is that a larger wedding has more cost then a smaller wedding and this is another reason why many couples choose to have a small wedding.
Ask any couple that you know that has had a big wedding what they would like to change about it and they will more then likely tell you the size. You should always consider wedding gifts from time to time. A lot of couples that are planning weddings hope to have it small but do not know how they will be able to do it.
One of the things that can cause a wedding guest list to get out of control is family pressure. One of the good ways to avoid this from happening is to plan to have your wedding in a smaller area that can only have a few people. When you have a smaller wedding everything doesn’t have to be elaborate and expensive. You will be at ease more rather then if you have chosen to have a big wedding.
Having a wedding is based on intimacy and by having a smaller wedding make this a lot easier for the bride and groom to do, which is like wedding gifts. Exchanging vows in front of many guest that you do not know can be harder then doing it in front of a smaller crowed that you know well.
A great way to cut your wedding size down is to have the big day on a day that is not convenient to people. A good example of this would be having your wedding date to be during the week, many people need to work and only your closest relatives and friends will end up showing up. This is typical of most wedding gifts. Also another good idea is to book your wedding date a day before or a day after an important holiday this is when most people a busy with other plans.
